Family Child Care Business

A high quality preschool program

My program has been developed to nurture, educate and to stimulate creative, mental and emotional growth in young children. An emphasis is placed on creativity and exploration of the world around us. It includes trips to the library, children’s museums, fire station, supermarkets nature center, and zoo.  It is my goal to determine each child’s developmental needs. I serve family style meals.  We have a program curriculum. I have a daily schedule of activities in an enjoyable environment. A monthly newsletter is sent to parents to update on you curriculum and special events. Show and tell every Friday. Cultural meals are offered and shared recipes. I believe in working on not only on social emotional needs of children in addition to the academics in the curriculum in a fun way, songs, dancing, music, role playing, poetry, and games. The children have choice activities, I have circle time where we discuss the weather, numbers and new words. There activities include math, science, geography, languages, computer, reading and listening to stories daily and cooking. Outdoor play weather permitting or indoor activity play. Ask open ended question and the freedom to explore ideas. Each child is encouraged to try their daily activity and help serve family style meal. Parents are encouraged to share stories about their jobs on careers day.
